Robert Kubica of Poland is best known as the only Polish driver to have competed in Formula One, a career that spanned 2006 to 2010 and returned briefly in 2019 and 2021, highlighted by his victory at the 2008 Canadian Grand Prix with BMW Sauber. Following his time in single-seaters, he turned to the World Rally Championship between 2013 and 2016, before shifting his focus to endurance racing, where he has built a further chapter of his motorsport career, including a class championship in 2023 with WRT and outright victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2025. He currently competes in the World Endurance Championship with AF Corse.[1]
Across his endurance racing career, Kubica has amassed 70 starts, 9 wins and 18 podiums, though he has yet to claim a championship title in this phase of his career. His Racer Rating of 6,206 places him 124th among active drivers, reflecting a competitive but not top-tier standing within the current WEC field. In the 2026 season, he has started 3 rounds without a win or podium, sitting P25 in the standings so far. Now racing full-time in endurance competition, Kubica continues to add to a motorsport résumé that already spans Formula One, rallying, and sports car racing at the highest level.[2]
