Jake Dennis is a British racing driver and established professional with a Racer Rating of 6,351. This puts him among the world's best drivers competing outside Formula 1; he wins races consistently against national-championship-level competition and at the sharp end of internationally prestigious grids. Dennis won the 2023 Formula E World Championship with Andretti, the centrepiece of a career that has seen him race professionally across single-seaters and endurance machinery for fifteen seasons since 2009.[1]

Dennis came through the junior single-seater ladder, Formula Renault Eurocup, GP3 Series, and FIA Formula 3 European, accumulating six wins and twenty podiums in F3 alone across four seasons with Carlin between 2014 and 2017. His move into Formula E from 2020 proved decisive; he has won seven races and taken twenty-four podiums in seventy-five starts for Andretti, demonstrating genuine speed among elite single-seater drivers. His record against near-peers tells a consistent story: he has finished ahead of fellow Platinum-graded professionals Maximilian Günther, Nick Cassidy and Nyck de Vries substantially more often than behind them across eighty-plus shared races with each, and holds a notably winning head-to-head against Oliver Rowland and Pascal Wehrlein, who both rank among the world's strongest active drivers and have themselves won Formula E championships in 2025 and 2024 respectively. He has also occasionally finished ahead of generational talents such as George Russell and Charles Leclerc, though such results came during their junior careers and do not suggest a sustained pattern.[2]

Away from Formula E, Dennis has pursued sportscar racing and was graded FIA Platinum for those efforts, competing in GT World Challenge Europe and a handful of rounds in WEC and the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie without converting starts into wins. His primary focus remains Formula E, where he continues to race for Andretti as a factory BMW driver.
