Chris Krauser is a developing driver who raced in national solo sprint championships in the United States between 2006 and 2011. He competed in NASA's multiclass series, driving a 944 Turbo in its GTS classes, and in PCA Club Racing, piloting a Porsche in the F class. Both series mixed amateur, semi-professional and graded professional drivers on the same grid.[1]
Across 15 starts, Krauser took one win and five podiums. His record came chiefly from PCA Club Racing, where he started 12 times over four seasons and finished 37th in the championship standings in his final year of 2011. His NASA campaign was brief, comprising three starts in 2006 and 2007.[2]
In PCA Club Racing he usually finished behind Craig Smid, a club-level regular with 55 starts in the series, but typically ahead of Carl J Beisel, another developing driver. He beat Mark T Hupfer, also a club regular, once, and Daniel Summers once in a separate series.
