Craig Haltom was a developing driver racing in SCCA's national multiclass championships between 2021 and 2023. He competed in the FE2 class, driving spec Mazda-powered Formula Enterprises cars, and made one start in the SRF3 class in a Spec Racer Ford. His racing took place across SCCA Majors, SCCA Regionals and the SCCA Runoffs, accumulating 13 starts over three seasons before retiring from the sport.[1]
Haltom's record placed him mid-field against the regular opponents he met most often. He typically finished behind Eric Cruz, another developing driver with far more SCCA experience, and behind Paul Schneider, a semi-professional competitor who had logged substantial time across all three series. He did finish ahead of Schneider twice, and once beat Scott Rettich, a semi-professional who had raced in the Star Mazda Championship as well as SCCA competition, though these remained isolated results against drivers who regularly outpaced him.[2]
