Curt Wickett is a club-level racing driver who competed in NASA, a multiclass national championship that runs up to fifteen classes in a single race. He raced solo in the GTS3 class, driving German cars mostly BMWs and Porsches, from 2017 until his retirement after the 2024 season.[1]
Wickett made 29 starts across his eight seasons, taking four wins and fourteen podiums. His most recent season in 2024 saw him finish eleventh in the championship standings with one win and five podiums from six rounds entered. He was a regular entrant throughout his time in the series, competing consistently against the same core of drivers without winning a championship.[2]
His record against the field placed him as a competitive midfield regular. He typically finished ahead of developing drivers such as Vasil Vykhopen but usually behind semi-professional competitors like Luiz Serva. On occasion Wickett beat more experienced drivers, including entry-level professional Rob Jackowitz, a 2017 American Endurance Racing Class 5 champion who brought forty-three American Endurance Racing starts to the grid alongside his sixteen NASA appearances.
