Stuart Hembree is a club-level driver who raced in American Endurance Racing, a multiclass endurance championship run across two countries in which drivers share cars and rotate during each race. In 2022, his only season on record, he competed in the Class 2 division, which fields production-based cars alongside amateur and semi-professional entrants and graded professionals.[1]
Hembree started twice in the series and took a win and a podium from those two races, finishing 27th in the championship standings. Among the drivers he beat in that span were Eric Pennington, a competitive amateur with 25 American Endurance Racing starts, and Vaughn Glace, a competitive amateur and FIA Silver driver who won the 2021 SCCA Runoffs FX championship and has raced in three national series.[2]
