Dan Aweida raced in PCA Club Racing, a national multiclass championship mixing amateurs, semi-professionals and graded professionals in the same race. He drove a Porsche in the GTA class. His only indexed season was 2004.[1]
In that season Aweida started five times and took four podiums, finishing first in the championship standings. He won the 2004 PCA Club Racing title.[2]
Over the course of the season he regularly finished ahead of Liz Halliday, an entry-level professional with experience in the FIA GT Championship, and once beat Cory Friedman, a semi-professional Bronze-graded driver with 74 starts in the series across a longer career.
