Don Whittington is a competitive amateur who raced at the club level, posting a rating of 2,538. His record encompasses two seasons of karting competition in the SKUSA SuperNationals during 2012 and 2013, where he made two starts without recording a podium finish. His average finishing position across classified starts was P23, placing him in the middle of the field in a competitive amateur environment. In his limited racing career, he finished ahead of several drivers who would go on to establish stronger credentials; notably, he beat Oliver Askew, who later became a professional champion in Indy NXT, as well as Nick Boulle, Milan Dontje, and Axel Matus in single-race encounters, though these isolated results do not indicate a consistent pattern of dominance over stronger competition.[1]
