Eric Bachelart is a Belgian professional driver whose career on record comprises a single start in the 1987 Formula 3 Macau championship, a mixed-field single-seater race. He drove for Sport Auto Racing.[1]
That one outing, in a field that mixed amateur and semi-professional drivers with established professionals, saw him finish ahead of both Johnny Herbert and Damon Hill, each of whom went on to established careers in international racing; Herbert raced Formula 1 and International Formula 3000, while Hill became 1996 Formula 1 world champion and competed in both those series as well as returning to Macau on four occasions. Bachelart has since become the owner of Conquest Racing, a team that competes in sports car racing.[2]
