Evan Darling is a club-level driver racing in national amateur and semi-professional multiclass championships in the United States. He competes primarily in BMW machinery, most recently in the World Racing League's GP1 class for Boulder, where he shares a car in endurance racing format.[1]
Darling's racing record spans from 2010 to the present across three series. He took a podium in BMW CCA Club Racing in his first indexed season, then competed in NASA's GTS2 class in 2018 with four starts in a BMW 325is. He returned to racing in 2026 in the World Racing League, where he has taken one podium in two rounds so far and currently sits 28th in the championship standings as the season continues.[2]
His regular competition in NASA came against drivers with substantial experience in that series; he typically finished behind Rafer Chambers, who has 68 NASA starts, and Brad Kettler, who has 43. Darling has on occasion finished ahead of stronger opposition, including an entry-level professional in Steve Dunn and a semi-professional who won the 2016 Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup in Nathanial Sparks, though these remain isolated results rather than patterns in his record.
