🏳️ Frank Celenza

Frank Celenza raced at club level in national single-seater and production-car championships across eleven seasons from 2007 to 2021. His primary series was PCA Club Racing, where he drove Porsches in the F, SP3 and SPB classes; he also competed in NASA's 944 SuperCup class and spent his later years in American Endurance Racing, racing shared-car multiclass endurance events in Class 2 and Class 4 production-based machinery.[1]

Across 52 starts Celenza took four wins and seventeen podiums. His record in PCA Club Racing spanned a full decade; he won once and podiumed eleven times across thirty-five starts, finishing 71st in the championship standings in his final indexed season of 2017. He scored twice in nine NASA starts, and won three times in eight American Endurance Racing entries during 2017 to 2021, accounting for three of his four career victories.[2]

In the multiclass amateur and semi-professional fields where he raced, Celenza typically finished behind James Counterman, a 2016 and 2020 American Endurance Racing class champion who shared both series with him. He usually outpaced Henry Hoeh, a club-level PCA regular. He finished ahead of Aristotle Balogh, an entry-level professional and Bronze-graded driver active in NASA and endurance racing, on one occasion, and beat Jeff Segal, a Gold-graded entry-level professional and 2020 American Endurance Racing champion, three times across their meetings in endurance events.
