Gabriel Baco competed at club racing level, with a Racer Rating of 2,330; this places him among competitive amateurs, drivers who race in regional fields and typically lack the consistency or calibre to progress to professional ranks. His career on record consists of a single season in the Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series during 2018, encompassing just two starts. He won one race and finished on the podium in both appearances, posting an average finish of third place.[1]

Despite the brevity of his record, Baco's two races produced notable results. He defeated Reece Gold, the 2018 Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series Champion and a significantly stronger driver rated in the professional range, in one outing. He also beat Alexander Koreiba and Ryan Nash, both FIA Silver-graded drivers rated as established or semi-professional competitors, as well as Nate Aranda on two occasions. These results were isolated moments rather than a sustained pattern; the small sample size means little can be concluded about his competitive standing beyond that he showed promise in a very limited sample. Baco retired after 2018 and has not raced since.
