Gavin Poteet is an entry-level professional competing in national multiclass sprint and endurance racing in the United States. He races the SR1 class in SCCA Regionals and the ZP2 prototype class in Zenith Racing Series, most recently competing for Round 3 Racing.[1]
Poteet took three wins and eight podiums across eight SCCA Regionals starts in 2024 and 2025. He moved to Zenith Racing Series endurance racing in 2026 and has taken a podium finish so far, currently sitting 21st in the championship standings with more rounds yet to come.[2]
In SCCA Regionals, Poteet runs closely with Tyler Edwards, a competitive amateur, and typically finishes ahead of developing-level drivers.
