Olivier Piatek is an entry-level professional racing in the United States, with a career split between solo multiclass sprint racing and multiclass endurance racing shared with co-drivers. He races the SM class, spec 1990-2005 Mazda MX-5 Miatas, in SCCA's regional and national programs, and currently drives the ZP2 prototype class in the Zenith Racing Series for Round 3 Racing alongside the GP1 production-car class in the World Racing League for Open Throttle Racing.[1]
His most substantial season on record is the current one. Piatek sits second in the 2026 Zenith Racing Series standings so far, with three wins and six podiums from nine rounds for Round 3 Racing, and the season is still in progress. Before that he spent two seasons in SCCA Regionals, taking a podium in six starts, and four starts in SCCA Majors. He has also started twice in the World Racing League for Open Throttle Racing, with a podium there.[2]
Piatek's regular opposition includes Jason Alder and Clay Magouyrk, both entry-level professionals with backgrounds in Formula Regional Americas, US F4 and the Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series, and he runs closely matched with both. His notable results have come against bigger names: he has finished ahead of Linus Lundqvist, an established professional who won championships in GB3, Formula Regional Americas and Indy NXT, and of Hampus Ericsson, champion of the 2025 Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America Pro class, each once.
