Gavin Vaughan is an entry-level professional competing in national solo-seater and shared-car racing in the United States. He races spec Mazda MX-5s in SCCA Majors and SCCA Regionals, and prototypes in the Zenith Racing Series, where he drives for Nimbus Racing.[1]
Across two seasons from 2025, Vaughan has taken three wins and eleven podiums from 39 starts. In SCCA Majors, a 26-start campaign yielded two wins and four podiums across the SM and SMX classes. He also contested SCCA Regionals, scoring two podiums from four starts in 2025. His current focus is the Zenith Racing Series, where he runs prototype machinery in the ZP2 class; through nine rounds in 2026, he has won once, taken five podiums, and sits third in the championship standings with racing still ongoing.[2]
Vaughan typically finishes behind his regular opponents. He has raced repeatedly against Logan Stretch, a two-time SCCA Majors SM champion, and Bobby Gossett, an entry-level professional with extensive SCCA experience across three series; Vaughan usually trails both.
