Bobby Gossett is an entry-level professional competing in national solo sprint racing across SCCA multiclass championships and the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by Michelin. He races spec Mazda MX-5 Miatas in SCCA competition and ND2-class MX-5 Cup cars for BSI Racing, having recorded 108 starts across four seasons since 2023.[1]

Gossett won the 2026 Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup championship with BSI Racing, taking four wins and seven podiums across fourteen rounds run so far this season and currently leading the points standings with more racing to come. He has combined that with steady results in SCCA competition, where he runs both the SM class and STL class in regional and national majors events. Across SCCA Majors, he has four wins and eleven podiums in forty starts; in SCCA Regionals, ten wins and nineteen podiums in thirty-five starts. His three SCCA Runoffs starts between 2023 and 2025 add further competition at the national level.[2]

Gossett regularly races against Noah Harmon, an entry-level professional with whom he shares the grid across SCCA Majors, Regionals and the MX-5 Cup; he typically finishes behind Harmon. Against Ellie Gossett, a competitive amateur racing the same circuits, he usually finishes ahead. He has beaten two established professionals; he finished ahead of Sebastien Bourdais twice and Earl Bamber three times, though both drivers race at a significantly higher level and these meetings were occasional rather than sustained competition.
