Ellie Gossett is a competitive amateur racing in North American single-seater competition. Her Racer Rating of 2,778 places her at the entry end of club racing, a field where drivers are building experience and typically racing against each other rather than against established professionals. Gossett has contested seven races across two seasons, from 2025 to 2026, all without a podium finish and with an average result of 26th place.[1]

Gossett's primary series is the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup, where she has started six times in 2026 with BSI Racing. She shares the field regularly with professional drivers graded at the national championship level; among her most frequent rivals are Jared Thomas and Gresham Wagner, both FIA Silver graded multi-time champions competing at a significantly stronger level. Against these rivals, Gossett has finished ahead of them on occasion, notably beating Thomas twice and Wagner twice across their shared races, though the head-to-head records show her consistently behind them over the season. She also races regularly against Justin Adakonis, a professional driver against whom she has not yet finished ahead across six shared starts. Her single SCCA Runoffs appearance in 2025 did not produce a classified result. Recent competition has seen her achieve top female finisher awards at Mid-Ohio and Canadian Tire Motorsports Park, the latter following a reported win in race conditions.
