Tyler Gonzalez is an entry-level professional racing driver rated 3,800, competing in multiple national series in the United States. He races in shared-car endurance championships, where he holds an FIA Silver licence grading him as a developing professional in sportscar racing. His primary teams are RAFA Racing Team in GT4 America and Victor Gonzalez Racing in IMSA Pilot Challenge, and he drives Mazda MX-5s for BSI Racing in the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup.[1]

Gonzalez has competed steadily across eleven indexed seasons from 2016 to 2026, accumulating 206 starts with 47 wins and 91 podiums. He won the 2023 TGRNA GR Cup North America championship with Copeland Motorsports, taking 13 wins and 17 podiums across 17 starts. In the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup, where he has made 53 starts since 2018, he has taken 11 wins and 17 podiums. His results in GT4 America show 7 wins and 19 podiums from 37 starts in shared-car endurance racing. He also holds 11 podiums across 53 IMSA Pilot Challenge starts, driving TCR machinery for Victor Gonzalez Racing. In 2026 he has competed in two rounds of the Mazda MX-5 Cup so far, recording one podium and currently sitting 11th in the championship standings.[2]

Gonzalez races regularly against Gresham Wagner, a fellow Silver-graded entry-level professional and two-time Mazda Cup champion, with their head-to-head record closely matched. He meets Tim Lewis frequently in IMSA Pilot Challenge, where they also split results evenly. His strongest scalp came against Franco Colapinto, an elite Platinum-graded professional who has competed in Formula 1, whom Gonzalez beat twice in shared endurance racing.
