Tyler Gonzalez is a Silver-graded, entry-level professional racing driver competing across multiple national series in the United States. He races full-time in the IMSA Pilot Challenge's TCR class and GT4 America's Silver class for Victor Gonzalez Racing and RAFA Racing Team respectively, driving TCR touring cars and GT4 machinery in shared-car endurance racing. He also maintains a long-running relationship with BSI Racing in the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup, a single-driver sprint series where he has been a regular since 2018.[1]

Gonzalez has compiled 200 starts across 11 seasons of racing, amassing 46 wins and 89 podiums. His most notable accomplishment is the 2023 TGRNA GR Cup North America championship with Copeland Motorsports, where he won 13 of 17 races. His GT4 America record shows consistent pace; across four seasons he has taken 7 wins and 18 podiums from 35 starts, establishing him as a front-runner in that series. In the Mazda MX-5 Cup, where he competes alongside established competition, he has 11 wins and 17 podiums from 53 starts since 2018. His IMSA Pilot Challenge tally of 3 wins and 10 podiums from 52 starts reflects a more measured pace in that shared-car endurance field, where he regularly races against graded professionals. Harry Gottsacker, a 2023 IMSA Pilot Challenge TCR champion, is a recurring opponent in both the Pilot Challenge and GT4 America, though Gottsacker typically finishes ahead. Gonzalez has beaten much stronger drivers in isolated instances, finishing ahead of Formula 1 driver Franco Colapinto twice and outrunning 2025 Supercars champion Broc Feeney once, though these remain singular results rather than patterns of his racing.
