Dan March is a semi-professional racing solo sprint events in national multiclass championships, primarily BMW CCA Club Racing where he drives BMWs in the IP, IS and Spec E46 classes. He has also raced SCCA Majors in the T3 class and contested American Endurance Racing as a shared-driver entry in multiclass endurance racing. His racing spans 13 seasons from 2013 to the present across 90 starts.[1]
March has built his record almost entirely in BMW CCA Club Racing, where he holds 81 starts with 30 wins and 46 podiums across 14 seasons. He has won the club championship four times: 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2018. His engagement with other series has been limited; he took 5 starts in SCCA Majors between 2021 and 2023, winning 2 of 2 races in his final year and finishing the season tenth in points. His single season in American Endurance Racing in 2020 yielded one podium from four starts. Most recently he raced SCCA Majors in 2023, taking two wins and two podiums in two rounds.[2]
In BMW CCA Club Racing he regularly finishes ahead of both competitive amateur and club-level regulars. He has also beaten Francis Selldorff, a professional Silver-graded driver and 2023 IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge GSX champion, twice in competition, and Jeremy Fletcher, the 2025 Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup champion, twice in head-to-head racing.
