Nick Leverone is a semi-professional racing solo Spec Miata and Spec Racer Ford machinery in SCCA club racing in the United States. His primary competition takes place in SCCA Majors and SCCA Regionals, multiclass national championships where he races SM, SMX, SM2 and SRF3 classes alongside amateurs and professionals in the same series. He won the 2025 SCCA Majors STL championship.[1]

Leverone has recorded 235 starts across eight seasons since 2018. His strongest results come in SCCA Regionals, where he has taken 20 wins from 67 starts and finished on the podium in two-thirds of his races there. In SCCA Majors, his primary series, he has recorded 13 wins and 56 podiums from 153 starts. He has also competed in American Endurance Racing, a multiclass endurance championship where he took one win and two podium finishes from three starts in a Class 1 car shared with co-drivers. His first indexed racing came in 2018 in the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup, where he made two starts for Flatout Motorsports.[2]

Leverone races regularly against Danny Steyn, a four-time SCCA Majors STL champion and semi-professional with extensive experience in SCCA competition and NASA, though he typically finishes behind him. He is closely matched with entry-level professional Frankie Barroso across SCCA Regionals and Majors. Leverone has finished ahead of established professional Matthew Payne, an FIA Gold driver with 99 Supercars Championship starts, on four occasions, and ahead of Connor Zilisch, an FIA Gold driver with 45 NASCAR Xfinity starts, also four times.
