Alsup is a semi-professional endurance racing driver competing in two multiclass championships in the United States. He races production-based cars across Classes 3, 4 and 5 in American Endurance Racing and GT4-class machinery in the Zenith Racing Series' ZR2 class, where he currently drives for Retro Rockets Racing. His rating of 2,599 places him among competitive amateurs, a level that reflects consistent finishes against established opposition across a decade of shared-car racing rather than outright pace against the strongest professionals.[1]
Over eleven seasons indexed from 2016, Alsup has accumulated ten wins and twenty-seven podiums from forty-nine starts across endurance grids that run amateurs, semi-professionals and graded professionals in the same race. Nine wins and twenty-one podiums came in American Endurance Racing from 2016 to 2026, where he raced regularly against three-time Class 4 champion Mike Dipillo, usually finishing behind Alex Rubenstein, a three-time Class 4 champion with credentials across NASA and SCCA Majors. His record against stronger professionals is sparse; he has finished ahead of David Russell, an FIA Silver graded driver with Supercars Championship and Bathurst 12 Hour experience, twice in limited meetings, and once outfinished Misha Goikhberg, an FIA Bronze professional with an extensive IMSA WeatherTech record.[2]
The 2026 Zenith Racing Series season is in progress, and Alsup leads the championship standings after nine rounds with one win and six podiums so far. His results place him among drivers who finish consistently within contention in amateur and semi-professional endurance fields; he beats the drivers at his own level regularly and has occasional results against established professionals.
