🏳️ Alex Rubenstein

Rubenstein is a semi-professional endurance racer competing primarily in American Endurance Racing, where he races production-based cars in Classes 2, 3 and 4 across a multiclass grid shared by amateurs and graded professionals. He has also raced NASA's Spec3 category, piloting a 1993-1995 BMW 325is, and contested SCCA Majors and PCA Club Racing events. His most recent start came in the 2026 Zenith Racing Series.[1]

Across twelve seasons from 2015 to 2026, Rubenstein has compiled 155 starts with 37 wins and 87 podiums. He has won three American Endurance Racing championships: in 2017, 2020 and 2021. In American Endurance Racing alone, where he has spent the bulk of his career, he has recorded 130 starts, 35 wins and 80 podiums. His NASA campaign has yielded 15 starts with 2 wins and 7 podiums; he has also made brief appearances in SCCA Majors, PCA Club Racing and the Zenith Racing Series.[2]

Rubenstein regularly finishes ahead of established American Endurance Racing opponents including a two-time Class 3 champion and a competitor with over 100 starts in that series. He has beaten professional-level drivers including a Bronze-graded racer with experience across IMSA's top tier and a Silver-graded professional who won the 2024 IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge GSX championship, though such victories have come in isolated meetings rather than establishing a pattern. In 2026, he currently sits 26th in the Zenith Racing Series standings with racing still in progress.
