🇺🇸 Kaz Grala

Kaz Grala is a professional stock car racer competing primarily in NASCAR's national series and select endurance events. He holds an FIA Silver grading, placing him among drivers developing toward the full-professional level in GT and endurance racing. He races part-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for Halmar Friesen Racing, driving the No. 62 Toyota Tundra, and also serves as simulation and reserve driver for Legacy Motor Club. Across his 11 seasons on record from 2016 to 2026, he has started 187 times in national and international championships, with his primary focus on oval-track racing; 61 of his 81 NASCAR Xfinity starts and 42 of his 52 Truck starts came on ovals, though he has also contested road courses in each series.[1]

Grala's most successful category has been American Endurance Racing, where he took five wins and six podiums across 11 starts in shared-car competition. He has scored wins in Trans-Am and the NASCAR Truck Series, the latter coming with GMS Racing, an established team that has fielded 18 drivers including elite professional Kyle Larson. In NASCAR's national series he has been a regular presence without breaking through to consistent success; his 34 Cup Series starts, 81 Xfinity starts, and 52 Truck Series starts place him as a developmental professional working toward greater competitiveness at the national level. In 2025 he competed in Trans-Am, currently sitting 11th in the championship standings after one round raced to date.[2]

His regular opponents in the Truck and Xfinity series include John Hunter Nemechek and Daniel Hemric, both established professionals and regular title contenders; Grala typically finishes behind them. He has on occasion finished ahead of elite-level drivers including Christopher Bell, 2024 NASCAR Cup champion and 2017 Truck champion, and Denny Hamlin, 2025 NASCAR Cup champion, though these have been individual results rather than sustained patterns across multiple meetings.
