Daniel Hemric is an established professional racing in the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing circuits. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for McAnally–Hilgemann Racing, driving the No. 19 Chevrolet Silverado RST. His NASCAR career spans 14 seasons and three national series; he holds the 2021 NASCAR Xfinity championship won with Richard Childress Racing.[1]

Hemric's record across the NASCAR national series comprises 87 starts in the Cup Series between 2018 and 2024, 189 starts in Xfinity from 2017 to 2025, and 95 Truck Series starts from 2013 to the present. He has one win and 33 podiums in Xfinity, one win and 15 podiums in the Truck Series, and no wins in Cup. The bulk of his racing has come on ovals; in Xfinity he has started 160 of 189 races on oval tracks, and in the Truck Series 87 of 95. In 2025 he has begun a new Xfinity campaign and also made his debut in ARCA Menards West. His current Xfinity standing through three rounds is 33rd in the championship.[2]

Hemric races alongside a field that includes established professionals of equal standing. He has raced repeatedly against Brandon Jones, both at roughly the same level and closely matched across their head-to-head meetings. He has also shared grids frequently with Ross Chastain, an established professional, with whom he splits their encounters. His record includes finishes ahead of elite professionals such as Denny Hamlin and Christopher Bell, the 2017 Truck Series champion, though both have beaten him far more often than he has beaten them.
