Darin Kreiss is a club-level driver racing in American Endurance Racing, a multiclass national championship where amateurs and semi-professionals share the track with graded professionals across production-based cars in Class 3, Class 4 and Class Daytona. He has been a regular in the series since 2015, accumulating 43 starts and 12 podiums across a 10-season span.[1]
Kreiss won twice in the series; both victories came during his earlier seasons. He has been closely matched throughout his time in the championship against competitive amateur regulars including Alex Rubenstein, the three-time Class 4 champion, and Jeffrey Herridge, a former Class 5 champion. He has also occasionally finished ahead of more experienced drivers who have raced at professional level in IMSA WeatherTech and other higher-tier series, such as Misha Goikhberg and 2025 International GT CAY3.8 champion Steven Thomas.[2]
In the current 2026 season, which is still in progress, Kreiss sits eighth in the championship standings with one win and one additional podium from five rounds raced so far.
