Steve Evans is a club-level driver who raced in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a multiclass endurance championship run at the Nürburgring in Germany. He competed in two seasons between 2010 and 2011, taking seven starts in near-standard production cars across the V4 and V5 classes. He has been retired since 2011.[1]
Evans finished 39th in the championship standings in his second season. He raced most often for Car #527, which fielded ten drivers across the indexed record without recording a win. His most regular opponents were entry-level professionals; he typically finished behind Daniel Zils, a multiple champion in the V5 class, and Tim Scheerbarth, who won the V5 title in 2011. Evans beat Vito Postiglione, a professional who had raced the World Touring Car Championship, once across their meetings, and posted a single result ahead of Alex Frassineti, an entry-level professional with GT World Challenge Europe experience.[2]
