Matt Ivey is a competitive amateur racing in American Endurance Racing, a multiclass national endurance championship where production-based cars from multiple classes compete together. He drives in the series' Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3 machinery across shared-car entries, where each car is piloted by two or more drivers rotating during the race. Since 2015, Ivey has made 91 starts in the series across 11 seasons, taking 11 wins and 46 podiums.[1]
Ivey won the 2022 American Endurance Racing championship. His record has been built on consistency within his regular peer group; he races closely matched against both Carl Becker and Sam Keller, each club-level regulars with over 100 starts in the series. Among the stronger drivers he has encountered, Ivey has finished ahead of Luca Mars, an FIA Silver-graded professional who has raced in IMSA Pilot Challenge, GT4 America and Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup, and Preston Brown, an entry-level professional with 45 IMSA Pilot Challenge starts. In 2026, with five rounds completed, Ivey holds fourth in the championship standings with four podiums so far.[2]
