Christian Sarnecki is a semi-professional racing in national multiclass championships, primarily competing in spec Mazda Miata classes in the SCCA Regionals and SCCA Majors series. He drives spec 1990-2005 Miatas in SM and SM2 trim, and competes occasionally in NASA's Spec Miata class and small-bore production cars in SCCA's STL category. His most recent activity spans multiple series through 2025.[1]

Sarnecki has won 62 races across 95 starts in his six seasons on record, with 74 podium finishes. He has claimed two SCCA Regionals championships, in 2022 and 2024. His record is built primarily on sustained success in the SCCA Regionals, where he has taken 42 wins and 47 podiums from 52 starts. In SCCA Majors he has added 18 wins and 25 podiums from 33 starts. He has also raced in NASA's multiclass championship and American Endurance Racing, including a win in the latter's Class 1 category, and secured a win in SVRA in 2024. His win rate across all series stands at 65 percent.[2]

Sarnecki regularly beats Nick Leverone, a 2025 SCCA Majors STL champion and competitive amateur with extensive experience across SCCA categories, and has finished ahead of stronger drivers including Francis Selldorff, a professional with an FIA Silver grade and a 2023 IMSA VP Racing championship, and Bobby Gossett, an entry-level professional and 2026 Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup champion. His standing in a field of amateurs and semi-professionals with occasional graded competitors reflects consistent pace in spec racing rather than a breakthrough into a higher class.
