Charles Russell is a semi-professional racing in the SCCA Majors multiclass championship, a national series in which up to 25 classes race together. He drives Spec Racer Ford and Mazda-powered Formula Enterprise cars. Russell has been active since 2021, competing across five seasons with 46 starts.[1]

Russell has taken 17 wins and 32 podiums across his racing. Fifteen of those wins came in SCCA Majors, where he has recorded 30 podiums in 44 starts. He added two wins and two podiums in 2023 SCCA Regionals, finishing 59th in the championship standings for that season.[2]

Russell regularly races against Denny Stripling, an entry-level professional and FIA Bronze-graded driver with significant endurance and GT4 America experience; the pair are closely matched. He typically finishes ahead of Charles Pigeon, a developing driver who has made more starts in SCCA Majors but remains less consistent. Russell has also beaten Jim Cox, an entry-level professional who has competed in IMSA's national and international series, twice, and Evan Slater, another entry-level professional with Trans-Am and Radical Cup racing to his record, once.
