🏳️ Grant Vogel

Grant Vogel is a competitive amateur racing in national solo sprint racing. He competes in the SCCA Majors series, where he drives a one-design Spec Racer Ford in the SRF3 class, racing in multiclass fields that mix amateur, semi-professional and graded professional drivers on the same track.[1]

Vogel has raced continuously since 2020, with six seasons of competition across the SCCA Majors, SCCA Runoffs and SCCA Regionals. He has recorded one win, at SCCA Regionals in 2022, and twelve podiums from 41 starts. The bulk of his racing has come in SCCA Majors, where he has taken ten podiums from 37 starts over six seasons. His most recent activity was a start at the 2024 SCCA Runoffs.[2]

In regular competition against peers, Vogel typically finishes ahead of John Vogel, a fellow competitive amateur with similar experience in the same series. Against James Goughary, also a competitive amateur but one who has ventured into Star Mazda Championship and US F4, Vogel runs closely matched. He has finished ahead of Evan Slater, an entry-level professional with experience in Trans-Am TA2 and Radical Cup NA, three times across their meetings.
