🇳🇿 Earl Bamber

Earl Bamber is an established professional racing driver competing in international endurance and multiclass racing, primarily in the IMSA WeatherTech Championship with Cadillac Whelen and the FIA World Endurance Championship with Cadillac Hertz Team Jota. He holds FIA Platinum status, the highest grade for sportscar racing. Bamber drives GT3 cars and prototypes in shared-car endurance events, a format in which each car is piloted by multiple drivers rotating through long races.[1]

Bamber won the 2019 IMSA WeatherTech Championship, his signature title. His IMSA record stands at 12 wins and 30 podiums across 81 starts, with his strongest performances coming in the WeatherTech Series, which forms the backbone of his career. In the WEC he has taken 5 wins and 14 podiums from 45 starts, and his record in the 24-hour racing format includes a Nürburgring 24 Hours victory in 2019 and multiple top-three finishes at endurance's elite events. Across his indexed seasons from 2014 through 2026 he has accumulated 23 wins and 53 podiums in 162 starts. His most recent campaign, the 2026 IMSA season, remains in progress; he currently sits 12th in the championship standings after two rounds raced so far.[2]

Bamber's chief opposition in IMSA comes from Nick Tandy and Antonio Garcia, both established professionals at Platinum grade, with whom he is closely matched; Garcia alone holds five IMSA WeatherTech titles across five seasons. In his career Bamber has finished ahead of drivers of considerably higher standing in single-seaters, including IndyCar champion Alex Palou on three occasions and Formula E champion Pascal Wehrlein twice, though these meetings occurred in shared-car endurance racing where the format levels distinctions in peak speed.
