Antonio Garcia is an established professional racing in the IMSA WeatherTech Championship, a national multiclass endurance series in the United States. Competing for Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Motorsports, he drives GT3 and GTE machinery in the GTDPRO and GTLM classes. Garcia holds FIA Platinum grading, the highest classification for sportscar racing.[1]
Garcia has won five IMSA WeatherTech titles across 130 starts for Corvette Racing, claiming championships in 2017, 2018, 2020, 2021 and 2025. He has taken 19 wins and 59 podiums in the series. Beyond IMSA, his career spans two decades from 2001 onwards, including 19 World Touring Car Championship starts in 2005 where he finished ninth in the championship standings with three podiums, 11 World Endurance Championship starts with Corvette Racing from 2012 to 2022 where he scored three podiums, and brief campaigns in FIA GT, Formula E and single-seater racing earlier in his career.[2]
Garcia operates at the top tier of the IMSA field. He typically finishes ahead of Tommy Milner, his long-time Corvette Racing teammate and 2016 IMSA WeatherTech GTLM champion. He runs closely matched with Nick Tandy, another Platinum-graded professional who has raced alongside him in IMSA and the WEC. His record includes victories over Kyle Kirkwood, an elite professional and multiple champion in Indy car racing who has made 23 IMSA starts, and Scott McLaughlin, a two-time Supercars champion and established IndyCar competitor.
