Linus Lundqvist is a Swedish driver rated as an established professional, graded Gold by the FIA for sportscar and endurance racing. The bulk of his career has been spent in solo single-seater competition, moving up through British F4, GB3, Formula Regional Americas, Indy NXT and IndyCar, with a small number of multiclass endurance starts for Alegra Motorsports in the GTD class of IMSA WeatherTech, driving GT3 machinery. He is currently racing for Stratus Racing in the 2026 Zenith Racing Series.[1]
His early career was built at Double R Racing, where he won the 2018 GB3 title and took five wins from twenty-three British F4 starts the year before. He carried that form to a Formula Regional Americas championship in 2020, then to Indy NXT, where he won the title in 2022 with HMD Motorsports with Force Indy off eight wins and twenty podiums from thirty-four starts. He moved into IndyCar for 2023 and 2024, taking two podiums from twenty-one starts split roughly evenly between ovals and road or street courses, a season that led to a Rookie of the Year honor and a subsequent role as a Honda development driver. His most recent results are with Stratus Racing in the 2026 Zenith Racing Series, where he sits fourteenth in the standings so far, with a win and a podium from three rounds run of a season still in progress.[2]
Against the drivers he has raced most often, he typically finishes ahead of Sting Ray Robb, the 2020 Indy Pro 2000 champion, and runs closely with David Malukas, an elite professional with major IndyCar and Indy NXT mileage. The strongest names on his record are Oscar Piastri, the 2021 Formula 2 champion and current Formula 1 driver, whom he has beaten eleven times, and Alex Palou, the four-time IndyCar champion, beaten four times.
