🇸🇪 Linus Lundqvist

Linus Lundqvist is a Swedish driver rated as an established professional, FIA Gold graded, who has spent his career mainly in solo single-seater racing, with a run in IndyCar split between ovals and road and street courses and a stretch of GT3 endurance racing in the GTD class of IMSA WeatherTech, sharing a car with co-drivers for Alegra Motorsports. He now races for Stratus Racing in the Zenith Racing Series.[1]

His single-seater record includes three championships: British F4 and GB3 with Double R Racing in 2017 and 2018, Formula Regional Americas in 2020 with fifteen wins from seventeen starts, and Indy NXT in 2022 with HMD Motorsports with Force Indy, a title season that included eight wins and twenty podiums from thirty-four starts. He moved into IndyCar for 2023 and 2024, taking two podiums across twenty-one starts and being named the series' Rookie of the Year for 2024, a result that has since carried him into a development role with Honda. His current Zenith Racing Series campaign is still in progress; through three rounds he has a win and a podium and sits seventeenth in the standings.[2]

Among the drivers he meets most often, he regularly finishes ahead of Sting Ray Robb, an FIA Gold graded IndyCar and Indy NXT racer who won the 2020 Indy Pro 2000 Championship, and runs closely with David Malukas, an elite professional with extensive IndyCar and Indy NXT mileage. His strongest results on record include finishing ahead of Oscar Piastri, the 2021 Formula 2 champion, on eleven occasions, and ahead of Alex Palou, the multiple IndyCar champion, four times. Double R Racing, where he spent much of his junior career, has also fielded Mitch Evans among its drivers.
