Benjamin Pedersen is a United States driver who has built his career primarily in sports car racing after gaining experience in open-wheel competition. Before settling into the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, he spent time in the IndyCar Series, most notably driving the No. 55 Chevrolet for A. J. Foyt Racing, an experience that helped sharpen his racecraft ahead of his move into endurance competition. He has also competed for PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports in prior sports car outings, giving him a varied background across different machinery and team environments before arriving at his current program.[1]
