Danial Frost is a professional driver competing in endurance racing, split between multiclass prototype competition and single-seater open-wheel racing. He holds an FIA Silver licence, placing him among drivers developing towards the full professional grades. His main programme has been Indy NXT, where he drove for HMD Motorsports across three seasons from 2021 to 2023, taking two wins and eight podiums from 46 starts. Since 2026 he has raced LMP3 prototypes for R-ace GP in Le Mans Cup, where he has won twice in four starts.[1]
Frost's career spans five seasons of recorded racing beginning in 2020. His earliest indexed appearance came in Formula Regional Americas that year, a single-driver national championship fielding amateur and professional competitors together, where he took one podium from eleven starts. He then moved into Indy NXT, the feeder series for IndyCar, and proved competitive there against a mixed field; over his time in the series he outfinished Christian Bogle, an entry-level professional who has raced across Indy NXT, Formula Regional Americas and Asian Le Mans, regularly but usually finished behind Linus Lundqvist, a Gold-graded professional and 2022 Indy NXT champion. He also beat elite professionals David Malukas four times and Kyle Kirkwood, a Gold-graded former Indy NXT champion, twice. A single start in IMSA WeatherTech's LMP3 class in 2023 did not yield a result of note. His switch to Le Mans Cup in 2026 has been successful; he has taken both his wins and all four of his podiums in this series so far. The 2026 Road to Le Mans campaign is still in progress.[2]

He races consistently ahead of Bogle but behind Lundqvist, whose credentials in GB3 and British F4 alongside his Formula Regional and Indy NXT titles mark him as significantly stronger.
