Louis Sharp is a professional racing driver from New Zealand who has won back-to-back championships in British single-seaters. He took the 2023 British F4 title with Rodin Carlin and followed it with the 2024 GB3 championship with Rodin Motorsport, establishing himself as a dominant force in the junior category. Sharp currently races in the FIA Formula 3 Championship for PREMA Racing, competing in a multiclass international series that draws from amateur through graded professional ranks.[1]

Across five seasons from 2022 to 2026, Sharp has recorded 108 starts, 13 wins and 36 podiums. His breakthrough came in British F4, where he secured 8 wins and 26 podiums across 54 races, then stepped up to GB3 for a single-season campaign that yielded 5 wins, 10 podiums and the championship. Sharp has since moved into Formula 3, where he holds 33 starts to date.[2]

Sharp's record against established opposition places him as a competitive professional. He has finished ahead of Alex Dunne, the 2022 British F4 champion and a driver who has contested Formula 2 and spent multiple seasons in each of the categories Sharp races, meeting him 11 times across their shared series. He has also beaten Rafael Câmara, an established professional and champion of the 2024 Formula Regional European championship and 2025 Formula 3 title, twice in their meetings. His regular rivals across multiple seasons include Ugo Ugochukwu, a professional with extensive experience across British F4, Formula 3 and Italian F4, with whom Sharp remains closely matched, and William Macintyre, a professional competitor with whom he has split results consistently throughout their time racing together.
