Scott McLaughlin is an elite professional racing driver rated 6,770 on the Elo scale, graded FIA Platinum for endurance racing. He competes in the IndyCar Series for Team Penske, where he races a single-seater solo across ovals and road courses. McLaughlin also races in IMSA WeatherTech's multiclass endurance championship for DXDT Racing, driving GT3 and LMP2 machinery shared with co-drivers.[1]

His record spans two distinct campaigns. In the Supercars Championship from 2019 to 2020, McLaughlin won back-to-back drivers' titles for Shell V-Power Racing Team, taking 31 wins and 43 podiums across 58 starts; the 2020 season alone yielded 13 wins and 21 podiums. He moved to IndyCar in 2020 and has made 104 starts there across seven seasons, recording 8 wins and 27 podiums.
