Joey Logano is an established professional competing full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 22 Ford Mustang Dark Horse for Team Penske. He races primarily on ovals across three national single-driver championships: the Cup Series, the Xfinity Series and the Truck Series. His indexed record spans 19 seasons from 2008 to the present.[1]
In the NASCAR Cup Series, Logano has 26 wins and 66 podiums from 337 starts since 2018, with the vast majority of those starts coming on oval tracks. His Xfinity career is even stronger: 30 wins and 69 podiums from 181 starts across 16 seasons, again predominantly on ovals. He has taken two wins from eight Truck Series starts. Across all three series combined, he has 58 wins and 139 podiums from 526 starts. He spent most of his early years with Team Penske before racing for Joe Gibbs Racing, which fielded him in 110 of his starts; that team's roster has included the elite professional Denny Hamlin, a reigning Cup Series champion.[2]
Logano races regularly against established professionals of his own calibre. He is closely matched with Kyle Busch, a five-time Xfinity champion and 2019 Cup champion who has raced far more extensively across all three series, and with Brad Keselowski, another established Cup regular. He has finished ahead of elite professionals including Denny Hamlin and Ryan Blaney over his career. His rating of 6,357 places him in the established professional band; he sits 96th among active drivers on the Elo scale. Recent headlines note his performance as a factor in the 2026 Cup season.
