Austin Dillon is an established professional racing full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, where he drives the No. 3 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing, the team his grandfather owns. He holds an FIA Gold rating in endurance racing. Dillon has spent 19 seasons racing in stock cars across multiple series since 2008, accumulating 519 starts and 18 wins.[1]

His primary record comes from NASCAR's national series. In the Cup Series, he has 337 starts and 6 wins; in the Xfinity Series, where he won the 2015 championship with Richard Childress Racing, he has 158 starts and 9 wins, the majority on ovals.
