Jason Leffler was an established professional competing primarily in NASCAR Xfinity, where he started 294 times for Turner Motorsports across fourteen seasons from 1999 to 2012. He also held three IndyCar starts in 1999 and 2000, all on ovals, and ten NASCAR Truck starts in 2012 for Hillman Racing. His career spanned national-level solo sprint racing in fields mixing amateurs with graded professionals.[1]

Leffler took two wins and eighteen podiums across 307 starts. In NASCAR Xfinity, where he ran nearly all ovals, he posted both of his victories and most of his podium finishes. His last indexed season came in 2012, when he competed in two NASCAR Xfinity rounds. He made his Indianapolis 500 start in 2000 as part of his brief IndyCar tenure, a venture that yielded no podiums in three starts against a field considerably stronger than his subsequent NASCAR competition.[2]

His regular opponents in NASCAR Xfinity included Kenny Wallace and Mike Wallace, both professionals; he typically finished ahead of Wallace but remained closely matched with the other.
