🇩🇪 Alexander Mattschull

Alexander Mattschull is an established professional racing in multiclass endurance championships with shared-drive prototypes. Graded FIA Bronze, he competes primarily in the Asian Le Mans Series for DKR Engineering, a team fielding multiple drivers across international sportscar racing. His record spans endurance racing from national-level long-distance events to top-tier international series.[1]

Mattschull won the 2022 Le Mans Cup with Racing Spirit of Leman, taking two wins and four podiums across thirteen starts in that championship. He has also won in the Road to Le Mans feeder series and scored a win in sixteen starts for DKR Engineering in the Asian Le Mans Series since 2024, where he has taken three podiums. His earlier career included two wins in fifteen starts in Germany's Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie between 2010 and 2015. Across 62 starts in endurance racing he has six wins and fourteen podiums. He competed once in European Le Mans Series, recording one podium in nine starts across the LMP2 Pro/Am and LMP3 classes, and made a single World Endurance Championship appearance in 2024.[2]

Mattschull races regularly against Michael Jensen and Malthe Jakobsen, both established professionals; Jensen won the 2025 Asian Le Mans Series while Jakobsen has won that championship twice as well as the 2022 European Le Mans Series LMP3 title. He has finished ahead of Maro Engel, a Platinum-graded professional and 2024 GT World Challenge Europe champion, in four meetings. Across his endurance racing he competes in mixed fields of amateur, semi-professional and graded-professional drivers, typically finishing in contention.
