Matthew Bell is a professional sportscar and endurance racing driver, FIA Gold graded, racing for 13 Autosport in the 2026 WEC season. His career spans 16 seasons and 191 starts across multiple series since 2007, with his principal category being multiclass endurance racing in which he shares crewed cars with other drivers.[1]

Bell's notable achievements include two championships: the 2020 IMSA Prototype Challenge with K2R Motorsports and the 2021 European Le Mans Series with COOL Racing. He has accumulated 13 wins and 34 podiums across his career, with his most successful series being IMSA WeatherTech, where he has 59 starts and one win. In the European Le Mans Series he took two wins and five podiums across 16 starts, and in IMSA Prototype Challenge he won twice from 12 starts. His record in Le Mans Cup stands at one win from 21 starts with Nielsen Racing, the team that has fielded him most frequently across 37 of his starts.[2]

Bell regularly races against established professionals at his level. He is closely matched with Wayne Boyd, an entry-level professional who has substantial Le Mans Cup and European Le Mans Series experience. Against Malthe Jakobsen, a stronger established professional and multiple Asian Le Mans Series champion, Bell usually finishes behind; Jakobsen's record in the series Bell has raced most heavily suggests a gap in pace. Bell has occasionally finished ahead of much stronger drivers: he has beaten Kyle Kirkwood, an elite professional and Indy NXT champion with 86 IndyCar starts, four times across their meetings in IMSA WeatherTech. He is currently 26th in the 2026 WEC standings after one round.
