Parker Thompson is a professional endurance racing driver competing in international multiclass and single-class championships. Graded FIA Silver, he races for Bryan Herta Autosport with PR1/Mathiasen in IMSA WeatherTech competition and for Team WRT in the FIA World Endurance Championship and Asian Le Mans Series, driving LMP2 and LMGT3 machinery respectively.[1]

Thompson won the 2022 Porsche Carrera Cup NA championship with JDX Racing, taking eight wins across two seasons in that series. His broader endurance record spans six years and encompasses IMSA WeatherTech, GT4 America, the 24H Series, Asian Le Mans, and the WEC. He has taken two wins and eight podiums from 31 IMSA WeatherTech starts and leads the 2026 WEC championship after six rounds, with one victory and three further podiums so far. In single-seaters, he contested two seasons of Indy Pro 2000 with DEForce Racing and one season of Pro Mazda, combining for five wins across 49 starts; in those same Indy Pro 2000 rounds he finished ahead of Kyle Kirkwood, a driver who has gone on to race IndyCar and won multiple series championships, and alongside Sting Ray Robb, a Gold-graded professional who became the 2020 Indy Pro 2000 champion.[2]

The grids Thompson races in are international endurance fields mixing amateur, semi-professional and graded professional drivers. He has beaten David Malukas, an elite professional with extensive IndyCar and Indy NXT experience, multiple times in their shared single-seater racing, and has raced closely with Riley Dickinson, another Silver-graded professional who won the 2023 Porsche Carrera Cup NA Pro title, across several series.
