🇩🇪 Nico Menzel

Nico Menzel is a professional endurance racer competing in shared-car multiclass racing for Dunlop Motorsport. His principal series is the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, where he holds an FIA Gold grade and has raced since 2016. He drives Porsche machinery across his career, primarily the 718 in the Nürburgring series, and competes in allied championships including the Asian Le Mans Series, ADAC GT Masters, and the 24H Series.[1]

Menzel won the 2019 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie championship with Mühlner Motorsport. Across his eleven indexed seasons he has taken ten wins and 24 podiums from 76 starts. His most consistent results have come in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie itself, where he has nine wins and 18 podiums across 41 entries. He took five podiums in twelve ADAC GT Masters starts in 2023 and has contested the Nürburgring 24 Hours eight times since 2019 without a indexed finish in the main race. His Asian Le Mans campaign began in 2025 with six starts for Car Collection Motorsport.[2]

In a field mixing amateurs with graded professionals, Menzel runs closely matched against both Sven Müller and Ralf Aron, both Gold-graded established professionals with extensive single-seater backgrounds; Müller has raced Formula 3 and Aron is a 2015 Italian F4 champion. Against stronger opposition Menzel has finished ahead of Sho Tsuboi, a two-time Super GT GT500 champion and multiple Formula champion, and of Edoardo Mortara, a Platinum-graded professional and 2010 Formula 3 Euro Series champion, though each of these occurred only once in shared-grid endurance racing where field composition varies greatly between races.
