🇩🇪 Christopher Mies

Christopher Mies is an established professional racing driver competing as FIA Platinum, the highest grading in GT and endurance racing. He races GT3 cars primarily in European championship and long-distance series, most regularly in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie for HRT Ford Racing and historically for Montaplast by Land-Motorsport across multiclass and single-class grids where amateurs and professionals share the track. His career spans 17 seasons and 180 starts.[1]

Mies won the 2021 ADAC GT Masters and the 2016 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, both with Montaplast by Land-Motorsport. The Langstrecken-Serie accounts for the bulk of his record, with 54 starts, 14 wins and 26 podiums across his 17-year tenure; he has taken 25 wins and 46 podiums across all series. His longest and most active championship is the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, where he has raced for over a decade; GT World Challenge Europe provided his heaviest concentration of recent starts at 50 races from 2019 to 2024, yielding one win. He has taken three IMSA WeatherTech wins in 30 starts and one victory in the 24 Hour Series across eight endurance entries. A single start at the 2024 WEC placed him twentieth in the championship standings.[2]

Mies faces regular competition from established professionals at his level; he is closely matched against Christopher Haase, an FIA Platinum who has raced extensively in the Langstrecken-Serie and GT World Challenge Europe, and against Raffaele Marciello, also Platinum-graded with championships in Formula 3 European, ADAC GT Masters and GT World Challenge Europe across 76 appearances in that last series alone. He has finished ahead of drivers of far greater standing, including twice beating Max Verstappen in three Langstrecken-Serie meetings and beating Katsumasa Chiyo, an elite professional with 88 Super GT starts, on three occasions.
