🇩🇪 Christopher Mies

Christopher Mies is an established professional racing driver competing in international endurance and GT racing. Platinum-graded by the FIA, he races for Ford Racing in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a long-distance championship where he has been a regular since 2010. He also competes in multiclass and single-class GT endurance series including GT World Challenge Europe, IMSA WeatherTech, the ADAC GT Masters and the 24H Series, driving GT3 machinery in shared-car racing where he partners with co-drivers to complete endurance races.[1]

Mies has won two championships as a driver: the 2016 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie and the 2021 ADAC GT Masters, both with Montaplast by Land-Motorsport. Across his career since 2010, he has taken 25 wins and 47 podiums from 182 starts. His strongest record is in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, where he has won 14 times from 54 starts, and in ADAC GT Masters with four wins from 27 starts. In IMSA WeatherTech he has three wins from 32 starts, while GT World Challenge Europe has yielded one win from 50 starts. He won the 24H Series once from eight starts and the Nürburgring 24 Hours once from seven starts. Most recently in 2024 he competed in the Michelin 992 Endurance Cup and made a single World Endurance Championship appearance.[2]

In the company he keeps most regularly, Mies is closely matched against established professionals of the same standing. Christopher Haase, another Platinum-graded driver and prolific competitor in the same GT endurance series, is a regular rival; Raffaele Marciello, a former Formula 3 European and GT World Challenge Europe champion who has raced extensively at this level, is equally established. Against the strongest drivers in his career, Mies has finished ahead of Max Verstappen twice and Kyle Kirkwood seven times in multiclass and endurance settings, though both race primarily in single-seater and open-wheel championships where they hold far higher standing.
