🇦🇹 Klaus Bachler

Klaus Bachler is a professional endurance racing driver rated FIA Platinum, racing for Manthey in the World Endurance Championship and for Razoon, more than racing in GT World Challenge Europe. He drives Porsche machinery across a career spanning multiclass and single-class series; 24-hour racing, endurance sprints and one-off marathons; and fields mixing amateurs with graded professionals.[1]

Since 2012, Bachler has recorded 191 starts across eight series. He won the 2024 WEC title, the 2025 24H Series championship with Proton Huber Competition, and the 2018 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie title with Falken Motorsports. He holds 14 wins and 44 podiums across his indexed career, with particular strength in endurance racing; nine WEC podiums from 23 starts, eleven in IMSA WeatherTech from 37 starts, and ten in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie from 26 starts. His record in GT World Challenge Europe spans 43 starts with 6 podiums and 3 wins for Razoon. On the Asian Le Mans Series he has completed 18 starts without a podium. His 2025 WEC campaign, still in progress, places him nineteenth in the championship standings after one round.[2]

Bachler's regular opponents include Christopher Mies and Jules Gounon, both established professionals and Platinum-graded drivers with substantial experience in the same series. Against them he has been closely matched across shared championships. He has also finished ahead of Kyle Kirkwood, an elite professional and three-time Indy car champion with 23 IMSA starts, in seven meetings; and has beaten Scott McLaughlin, a two-time Supercars champion with 104 IndyCar starts, once in IMSA competition.
