Frédéric Vervisch is an established professional rated 5,271 and graded FIA Gold, competing in endurance and touring car racing. He races for Ford Racing in the IMSA WeatherTech Championship GTD Pro class, driving a Ford Mustang GT3. His primary series across his career have been the FIA World Touring Car Cup, where he spent four seasons with Comtoyou Team Audi Sport, and GT World Challenge Europe with Proton Competition.[1]
Vervisch has taken 12 wins across 222 starts since 2005. His strongest results came in touring cars; he won four races in the World Touring Car Cup between 2018 and 2021 and finished second in the championship standings in 2021, his final season in that series. He has also won twice in the Nürburgring 24 Hours, taking victories in 2019 and 2022, and claimed wins in the 24H Series and TCR World Tour. In IMSA WeatherTech, where he has raced since 2019, he has taken two wins from 23 starts and sits fifth in the current standings with two podiums so far in 2026.[2]
Vervisch has spent most of his career against established touring car and endurance drivers. He raced regularly against Aurélien Panis, a professional and FIA Silver-graded driver with substantial touring car experience, and was closely matched with Thed Björk, a former World Touring Car Championship champion who competed in similar grids. In IMSA he has finished ahead of Kyle Kirkwood, an elite professional and multiple champion from IndyCar and Indy NXT, seven times across their shared starts, and on two occasions beat Max Verstappen in multiclass endurance racing at the Nürburgring.
