🇧🇪 Ugo De Wilde

Ugo De Wilde is an established professional racing driver rated 5,181, competing in GT and endurance racing at the Silver grade; he races for Rowe Racing in the GT World Challenge Europe, driving BMW M4 GT3 machinery. His career spans eight seasons from 2019 through 2026 across formula racing and prototype and GT endurance championships.[1]

De Wilde began in Formula Renault Eurocup in 2019 and 2020 with Arden, taking one win and four podiums across 35 starts. He moved to endurance racing from 2020 onwards, competing in the European Le Mans Series across its LMP2 and LMP3 classes for Mühlner Motorsport, where he won once and took four podiums in 12 starts. He also raced the Road to Le Mans feeder series in 2020 and 2021, taking a win and a podium in four starts. A single appearance in the 2023 WEC at the Le Mans 24 Hours yielded a 25th-place championship finish. His GT racing began in 2024 with GT World Challenge Europe, where he has taken one win and one podium in 18 starts so far. His most recent success came in endurance racing; he won both his entries in the 2025 and 2026 Nürburgring 24 Hours for BMW M Motorsport, and also won the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie in 2026.[2]

In formula racing, De Wilde raced regularly against Lorenzo Colombo and Victor Martins, both established professionals; he typically finished behind both drivers, though he defeated Martins, a two-time Formula Renault Eurocup champion, once. His endurance record includes finishes ahead of Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri, both generational drivers competing in those categories as additional racing outside their Formula 1 schedules. His present team, Rowe Racing, has fielded 31 drivers across the index and has recorded six race wins.
