Andrea Caldarelli is an established professional racing driver graded FIA Platinum, competing primarily in multiclass endurance racing. He races for Pfaff Motorsports in the IMSA WeatherTech Championship, where he pilots a Lamborghini GT3, and drives for Iron Lynx in the European Le Mans Series in the LMGT3 class. His career spans two decades across sportscar and formula racing, with 183 starts on record since 2006.[1]

Caldarelli has won championships in five series: the 2024 European Le Mans Series with Iron Lynx, the 2019 GT World Challenge Europe with Orange 1 FFF Racing, and three Super GT titles in 2014 and 2016 racing for Lexus-powered entries. His most recent championship came in the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech season with Pfaff Motorsports. Across his endurance racing he has 15 wins and 56 podiums from 183 starts. His strongest stretch came in Super GT, where he earned three wins and 13 podiums across 48 entries, and in GT World Challenge Europe, where he added four wins and 14 podiums in 33 races. In single-seater racing early in his career, he took 10 podiums in the 2006–2008 Formula Renault Eurocup with SG Formula but did not carry that form into the 2009 Formula 3 Euro Series, where he managed one podium from 15 starts.[2]

The calibre of his endurance competition places him among established professionals; he has regularly contested against Kohei Hirate and Tsugio Matsuda, both FIA Platinum drivers and two-time Super GT GT500 champions, and finished ahead of Sho Tsuboi, a five-time Super GT champion and 2024 Super Formula champion, once in head-to-head racing. He has also beaten Mitch Evans, a GP3 champion and Formula E regular, three times. In his first indexed season of IMSA competition in 2017, Caldarelli took his opening win and has added four victories and nine podiums across the series; his 2026 campaign saw him secure pole position at VIR and contend for the championship title.
