🇯🇵 Hironobu Yasuda

Hironobu Yasuda is a professional sportscar racer competing in Super GT's GT300 class for Anest Iwata Racing. Graded FIA Gold, he has spent his entire indexed career in the series since 2008, driving a mix of machinery including Nissan platforms for much of that tenure. His current machinery is a Nissan Z GT300.[1]

Yasuda took the GT300 championship in 2008 and has accumulated eight wins and 25 podiums across 138 starts. He has been a steady presence in the series through 18 seasons, most recently racing in the 2026 season where he has contested four rounds so far. His record places him among the regular competitors in a field that spans amateurs through graded professionals.[2]

The company he keeps within Super GT places him as a mid-field regular. He races consistently against established professionals such as Takashi Kogure, a two-time GT300 champion and former GT500 champion, with whom he is closely matched, and Kohei Hirate, a Platinum-graded former two-time GT500 champion with experience in GP2 and Formula 3 Euro. Yasuda has finished ahead of Sho Tsuboi on four occasions; Tsuboi is a five-time Super GT champion and multiple Super Formula title holder. He has also beaten Alex Palou three times in shared-grid racing; Palou is a five-time IndyCar champion and one of the elite professionals in motorsport. His team, Anest Iwata Racing, is a mid-field operation within the class with a history of competitive results.
